A new piece of semi-realism I finished today. All colored pencils on a small paper canvas, only 7x10 or so, but took 5 hours total anyway.

Praying mantises! I used a reference for the pose from an Audobon society guidebook but the coloring and the rest is all me. And the cute expression...
