Here's a piece I did as a birthday gift for my friend Greg. I made him wait quite a long time for this -- far too long, in fact -- but hey, it's close enough to the December holidays to get away with it.

I ended up using very little shading for this because I liked the way the plain linework looked. Subconsciously, I was probably trying to imitate the general style of animation, in which the shading is done in the colors (if at all).
