It's been such a long time since I've drawn my little Dingo. c:Last time I drew Echo was... a while ago. I can't even remember!
I worked really hard on this, though it could be better.
Oh well, I'm pretty happy with the outcome for the most part.Water reflections are fun...
I used a rock texture for the rocks and a picture of trees I took for the background.

I mainly blurred/smudged it, but then I did but the ocean ripple filter on top of it.

Eee, I really like this one! The trasparancy of Echo's design, combined with the fact you can see part of his reflection, had a really cool effect on the overall piece in my opinion - it's just so cool. I love what you did for the background too, all the little detaling in the wood, and the fur detail on Echo ... just amazing.

What effect did you use on Dingo? That is really cool!

I just colored him like normal, put a layer under him and used the airbrush tool at like a 50% opacity, merged the two layers together, and then I changed the layer (which was the entire picture of Echo and the glow) to a low opacity so he looks ghostly.

very cool! Great job with the anatomy and the texture on the fur. The background is really great, as well.
The only thing that looks off is the water. while the image in the reflection would be shaky/ripply (like the effect you used on the whole puddle), the edges of the puddle would be smooth, as they hit a smooth surface, and (assuming it's a puddle and not the oscillating waves of an ocean or lake), would be calm water, so the edges would be still and more...solid, rather than ripply.
OH and I just noticed now - the ghostly glow around Echo is really well-executed. looks like I would imagine a ghostly aura to look like!
