Should I be impressed? I've had my main OC since I was 8, and he's still not perfect.
I don't want to hear you wax poetic about how great your OC is and how we're not allowed to criticize him/her/hir/hem/it, because that just makes me want to rip it apart.

True, true. Everyone's OC sucks in their own way. Some more than others, and most creators too defendent of their OC to accept that they in fact do suck SX

I'd acctually apreciate some constuctive critisismon my oc's. Or at least their designs.i'm getting tired of getting pampered with simple compliments. It's nice to know your art is appreciated, but it's better to know what the crowds don't like and know how to improve.

Not achieving perfection dosn't mean your OC sucks. In fact, flaws make them super interesting and realistic.

Not all OCs suck. Mickey Mouse is an OC, so's Tinker Bell and Stitch and all thoseother Disney characters and Harry Potter is an OC too!

I don't care if my OC isn't perfect. I don't want to spend weeks and weeks refining it before I even start playing -- you make it perfect through RPs.

They probably do- I really don't know how average or "super duper!!11!" they are from other people's eyes.

Well that's okay because "it sucks" doesn't count as critique anyway. I understand that character are never perfect and require constant editing. But seriously....what you're doing here isn't critique. You don't know anything about EVERY OC. So saying someone's stuff sucks without knowing a thing about it really just comes across as idiotic. I can take critique.
Critique is:
"That doesn't really sound realistic for someone who[WHATEVER]"
"You should add more flaws"
"maybe it would be better to explain why they do/think that/act that way"
"their power should have a weakness or downside"
"It sucks" isn't mature critique and never will be. I just laugh when someone says "It sucks" because they can't be bothered to defend their opinion with real reasons.

Uhhh... It's a stamp, honey. It's not meant to be verbose, it's meant to be a quick, snappy statement.
It's not an advanced critique, and you appear as though you're really, really trying too hard to seem advanced.
I can critique any character in the most verbose, well-thought-out way possible, but I'm not going to go into an advanced critique on a fucking stamp.

Which is why you come onto my page saying that my opinion is invalid because it's not well-thought-out and put on a stamp, therefore "stirring up shit" in the exact same manner as this stamp, instead of just moving on.

It truly doesn't matter if the OC sucks. What does matter is if the artist recognizes their OC sucks. 'Cos then changes will be made. No recognition = the kind of comments/flames you've mentioned
