Description Lyserg is one of my Favorite Anime characters! So Kawaii!!!

I copied the lineArt somewhere in Shonen Jump issue 8 (August 2006) and did some renovations (i.e. he is smiling here, in the original he is angsty... and the color is mine)

sketch done with 0.5mm mechanical pencil
LineARt done traditionally with 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, & 0.7 STÆDTLER pigment liner
Colors with Adobe photoshop elements (Need the CS

Getting the lineart to co-operate is tough.. and there isn't a descent tutorial on here that tells how to prepare it... >.<

hmm... This is also not a decent tutorial but what I do is just scan the lineart, open it in photoshop. duplicated the background image and set the duplicate to multiply... then I delete the previous background. I just clean them with the "levels" adjustment...
It's hard to find decent tutorials here yeah...

I like Lyserg too (My sister adores him so much it's annoying -_-) I love how you did the picture here. I can't for the life of me accomplish the "sunlight streaming through window" effect. And I like this image of Lyserg better than angsty Lyserg XD
