I finally redid one of the pieces I've always liked. I updated it to how I would draw it now, as opposed to May, 2002 - when I did this: ( [link] )

I had a certain idea of the colors and wanted to capture more of a mood in color, so I painted this cel: ( [link] )

This time, in addition to completely redrawing it, I rendered it with ink pens and copic markers. I scanned it in (my poor 7 year old "scanner-only"compie is losing life fast!), and created this background in painter. I also touched up the image a little bit. I seriously didn't use a photo - I just used some cloud brushes and the "chalk" brush to get the bushy/floral thing going on. It doesn't really match him in lighting OR perspective, but it was better than the plain white I often leave my drawings with.

P.S. THIS IS ONE OF THOSE PIECES THAT LOOKS A LOT BETTER AT FULL VIEW. TRY IT. IT'S WORTH IT. XP
