Description This is an obscure Æsir god, not much on him so like a few others I gave him more of a story. Hoenir is the son of Bor, alongside Odin, Lodurr (who later died fighting Ymir, and the twins Villi and Vé, and is said to be the one who started to give man the ability of reason. A loving and well respected god among his peers, Hoenir is an expert in the ancient magics from Vanir spells to Jotun incantations, even magic from other pantheons and lands.

One day, he came across ancient text regarding about the power of the Great Old Ones, beings who also came from the Primordial but located themselves far from earth. Hoenir tried to summon the power of one called Cthulhu but something went wrong, and he ended being cursed into a hideous, misshaped tentacle monster, but also gained even more strength in magic. He now locks himself in his studies rarely coming out so no one sees what’s wrong. Not even knows why, except for Freya who has tried to help but to no avail. Shortly after the start of Fimblevinter, he reveals himself and announces that he would be leaving to find a cure, starting with a race known as the Elder Gods. After 3,000 years past, he returns to the Aesir with knowledge of an artifact that would allow Asgard to survive. He later helping fight alongside Odin but was killed by a horde of Dark Elves stabbing him to death. His magic was later used by Angela to transfer Heven in place of Asgard.

Okay so, Hoenir is a god very little is known about so I had to get creative with his story. According to H.P. Lovecraft, Forseti is often implied to be a Norse representation of Cthulhu, but I already did an owl design for him so I decided to apply that of Hoenir to give him a more unique look compared to everyone else.

~~~Update: I recently got called out that I borrowed some of another artist designs without asking permission. That wasn't cool and I'm owning up to that. I was inspired by Oni18064's Hive design. Credit goes to the artist.
