qa stylized representation of roland emmerich godzilla. i'm not ashamed to say that he's among one of my favorite kaiju of the Godzilla franchise. me and this movie are the same age, and it was this movie that introduced me into godzilla. so the nostalgic factor, plus the badass monster design all make me give props for the new monster design.Related content

Emmerich's Godzilla was the first film I saw in theaters and the first monster I ever saw. He's still one of my favorites...
I consider him and Gareth's Godzilla as best friends...

Glad to hear you're one of those people who aren't constantly picking on this movie. I actually liked it a lot because it's the first and (if you don't count the 2014 Godzilla) the only Godzilla movie I saw. I can understand the hate and all that, but you've got to admit this movie was really great to watch.
And awesome detail on this guy. I like it how you've given him bigger scales and such, makes him look more badass

yeah, although it was sort of understandable when the film just came out, but by the past 17 years, the excuse of hating the movie is just unjustifiable imo. i always give the film props as it was the movie that not only did i enjoy, but also introduced to the godzilla universe. and thanks for the compliment. this guy is pretty stylized. i have a more screen accurate depiction in my gallery if you want to check it out.

wouldn't be much of a fight, being that t. rex is barely bigger then his foot. i'll haft to either upscale t-rex or downsize zilla for that to happen

the advertizment biuld up was pretty amazing in this movie. it's really what allowed people to get extremely eager to see this film

I love the monster's design, be it a reimagining of the big G or something else entirely, and you do it a great justice. While I personally don't like the movie, I get that the nostalgia factor can be very powerful. Great work!

trust me, i know. as a movie that tries to be like the real big G, it's horrendous. but as a separate kaiju film( which is also how i view it) it not that bad of a movie bad.

well, we all have our opinions. i honestly never hated the movie, even after learning what godzilla was actually like. zilla is just a different monster and i'm glad toho recognises him as another kaiju
