Description a large, 11 meter long caiman that lived in the miocene, 8 million years ago in south america. this crocodyliforme is characterized by it's massive, beefy skull that hold sharp, steak- like teeth. it could be adaptions for crushing the hard shells of the large turtles it coexisted with such as stupendemys geographicus. that being said, it also show adaption for perfoming the death role, so not only do i doubt it was limited to such hard shell prey, but i also i doubt any of the mammals living along side it were safe from that terrifying mouth

the only example I know of a crocodilian with a dinosaurian name, without "suchus" at the end lol. good work, also!

From its mouth shape; its seems it cant bite strongly

What is its Diet? Piscivore/Fish ?

Awesome Pucture by the way

purussaurus has one of the strongest bite forces out of any crocodyliforme . we' re talking about a bite force that can exert about 7 tons of pressure. this ancient caiman can eat whatever it wants to eat

REALLY ?!

That is really Strong even for a Crocodile !

I never read about this Species but I kinda confuse its mouth with the '' Whale Crocodile Stomatosuchus  ''  mouth (I know its weird    but it seemed for a momment so similiar)

this speaks for itself. in no way in shape or form did this skull resembles stomatosuchus
