Description
The city of Stonehold, sister to Aman in The Underground. Established 100 years after Aman, the capitalistic parliament-inspired government of Stonehold was meant more in an experimental format- attempting to mix the best of all worlds.Built in a calm part of a volcanic caldera, Stonehold uses the nutrient-rich blue lava to naturally illuminate their city, as well as grow essential crops with fertile soil. Though both cities are successful in cultivating a thriving population, a majority of those who live in Stonehold prefer the far looser grip of the government on the people- allowing citizens far more opportunities in terms of career and lifestyle.
However, the status of the city is unknown. Contact between Aman and Stonehold has ceased for over ten years, and some even say that the city never existed at all. What happened to the mysterious civilization?

A quick rough of a concept from The Runaways- mostly an experimental piece meant to play with colour and some brushes. I have doubts that this will be used in the book, however I am curious what "vibes" it gives y'all.
