"Winter is coming again and Tanks is about to hibernate again. *sigh* I know I must accept it and I can't longer stop Winter from coming.... And they no longer allow me to go inside the weather factory or even get close of it again, but... Celestia help me, I would do it again just for a day or two more with him...."
Fluttershy: Rainbow Dash?
"Huh?"
F: It's time.
"Time for what?"
F: Tanks is about to... hibernate again.
"Oh."
F: How do you feel?
"I feel a struggle to respect my loyalty and destroy the snow producing section of the weather factory?"
F: Oh my.
"Yeah. Big one."
F: Maybe some cider would help?
"*sniff*.... M-maybe? And some cake?"
F: We'll stop at Sugarcube corner.
"And...."
F: And what?
"Some... Daring Do reading?"
F: Rainbow... You read those books dozens of times already...
"I read them when I'm down."
F: Huh? I usually saw you reading them when you were happy. What's different?
"I just finished reading the first three of the series today."
F: Oh my.
"*sigh* Let's got for that pint of cider and cupcakes. I'm thirsty and hungry after all that reading..."
F: But you need to take a shower, first.
"What? *sniff sniff* Oh. Right. Give me five minutes..."

Oh wow, this is amazing! I actually drew a sad Rainbow Dash a year ago with the thought behind that she is missing Tank. This time I didn't think about that. But it still fits very well.Β

Yeah, I like your piece by dislike seeing sad ponies, so wanted to come with a reason why Dash would be this sad, when I thought of the actual season, the coming Winter and what happen in that season when we've seen her depressed: Tanks is soon going to hibernate. Of course, I can't see better than Fluttershy for those emotional moments with her. I just wonder if we'll see more of them in Winter episodes. I wonder why they don't. I mean beside Hearth's Warming Eve.
And of course I would be a happy man to hug that pony.
