I'm a huge fan of Ghost in the Shell so how could I not create my own character for the series. I did this pic years ago, but it still looks good. Her story goes as so. Viola Davis was once about 50 years ago (from the time of Gits)Alicia Bennet of LA who tragically died in a car accident. Now about the time she died a string of body snatching has been going on cross the states. Alicia's corpse was one of these unlucky body stolen from the morge for the market of body parts. Or so thought. See her death was planned, her body purposely stolen, but not for selling, for experiments. She has a unique DNA composition that would enable modern science to leap forward in curse for many diseases that plaque mankind. Yet the amount that they would need from Alicia would kill her, so they simply did that. They went by the saying 'the need of the many out way the need of the few.' So she was put into storage, only to be forgotten however by stroke of luck when the organization that kidnapped her went underfire by the government for other illegal doings.
SO years went by, she stayed in a state of frozen animation, dead, but freshly dead. Outside her coffin mankind became cybernetic and the line between human and AI was blurred. Then one day her body is uncovered, record revealed and she is once again known to the world, (well almost). Since she was dead they decided to use a cutting edge cyborg technology to create new life. They fused parts of her body, flesh, organs, brain to machine and when they were done, flipped the switch on. Pulling a frankenstein, she wakes up not as the empty doll they wanted, but as the woman who had died in the car crash so many years ago. Scared, confused, she spent the next few years in labs as a rat, being poked and proded, put to extremes to measure her abilities.
After awhile she meets a man by the name of Bear, (nickname), he offers her a new beginning in his team, an elite force similar to that of section 9. She eccepts and begins a new life as Viola Davis, one bad ass chick with one big gun!
Time goes on, she becomes friends with Bear, the team leader; Hex, snipper and team playboy; laura, munitions specialist; Scavo, hacker; and Dodger, who is somewhat trigger happy and if he didn't enter the team he would be in jail instead.
One mission comes along where they work with the Major and Batou. It was small, but she got to know them none the less.
More time passes, missions come and go, teammates die (laura and dodger), yet the team remains strong. Vi is stronger than ever before.
Soon the fateful night comes. Vi, Bear, and Hex are sent on a scouting mission against a terrorist group. Scavo stays back to keep watch over them. Suddenly after having discovered no terrorist Bear and Hex start acting weird, dropping to their knees, smashing their heads into the ground, (they were being attacked from the inside by a virus both electronic and biological) they fall dead to the ground infront of Vi, who had been slightly affected, but because of her unique DNA, (enhanced by technology) overcomes it and tries to help her brothers, only to see them die. She calls to Scavo, but he doesn't answer, (he is a traitor). As she tries to reach someone for assistance the bodies of Bear and Hex begin to move. THey stand and move toward Vi, (they have become puppets/zombies) they are no longer alive. They attack her, but she escapes. She tries to return to base, but discovers that she has been framed for the murder of her team and is to be hunted and destroyed at all cost.
Why the sudden turn by her comrades, because she survived, she didn't do what she was meant to do, die like Bear and Hex. See her team wasn't so much a elite force, they were more like an elite experiment for a virus that kills and controls their victims. Strongest of its kind, they needed strong subjects, but now that one of their subjects has survived, and not only that, but had created herown anti-virus within her DNA they needed to catch her quickly. So they send out the warnings to all nations tolook out for her. And where do you think one of these warnings went. You got it, section 9. So thats where her story leads to. THe question is, will she be able to clear her name with the help of seciton 9? Would Batou and the Major still remember her? Will she be able to live after all is done? SO many questions and details I wish to go into, but only so much time. Well I hopefully haven't fried your brains too much and sorry for the mispellings. Enjoy!
