Well. This looked better in my head. Hm.
By the time I realised the layout was a bit off I couldn't change it >< Oh well.
There is a transparency effect on the middle and left image. So you can see the background and what not behind them.

Headcannon time!

So, here we have Rythian. Without his mask, so you can see his mouth. He has two pairs of long, sharp 'external' fangs. Though they are shorter than an ordinary Enderponies (far left) and don't carry the Endervenom* that an Enderpony does. (These are the prime reason he wears the mask, as most other ponies would find them strange, even unsightly.) If Rythian were to bite someone for whatever reason it wouldn't infect them, merely leave a nasty wound, though why he'd bite someone I don't know. He also has an equally sharp set of 'internal' fangs, three pairs of long canines, two on the bottom and one on the top. The rest of his teeth are like other ponies.

The purple streaks on his face, legs and tail are traces of the Ender infection*. Including the section on his flank, his actual cutie mark is the Endereyes, not the purple surrounding them. The scars littering his body are from various conflicts with various creatures that he's encountered over the years. The chip in his horn was caused by a particularly tough battle with a small group of aggressive Enders when he was in his late teens. He won the battle, but the scars are still very prominent, especially the one on his horn.

His eyes are usually blue. Though at night, or when he's angered, they turn purple, and begin to glow like an Enderponies, leaving a similar trail as he moves as well. His blue eyes glow too, but not quite on the same level. When he's sick or badly injured, they don't change, and remain their usual light blue colour.

His blood is purple, due to him having the blood of an Ender.

He was infected* as a small child. So as he grew up he had plenty of time for his magical ability, which was strengthened by the Endervenom into something not unlike that of an actual Enderpony, to blossom. Though his height did the same, and as an adult he stands much taller than other ponies. (Probably the human equivalent of about 6ft 10". So yeah. Quite tall.) He's naturally very thin, double that with the an Enderponies slim build, and he is simply unable to put any weight on regardless of how much he eats. Whilst he can't teleport without using a general teleportation spell, he does share the Enderponies weakness to water, and contact with it causes burns and blisters on his skin in a matter of seconds, which is both very painful and very unpleasant. So he tends to avoid the rain and simply refuses to swim or even go near a pool or lake. Which made life very difficult when Nilesy was staying with Zoey and him.

Personality wise, he's not that unlike other ponies. He likes to get his work done, and can be very serious about it at times. He prefers to keep to himself most of the time, and can be very self-concious, mostly because of the Ender traits he carries and a fear of ponies lashing out if they discover what he is. When he becomes close to someone he tends to open up a bit more though. And at times craves the companionship of others, especially Zoey, who he's incredibly fond of. He is a master alchemist and mage, with a fair amount of skill with a sword and bow. He despises the Enderponies in everything they do. Constantly fearing that they are out to catch him and drag him to the End, he will happily slay any that oppose him. His biggest fears are losing his friends, especially Zoey, and having his freedom stripped away. He also has a bad habit of not letting others help him, even when he know's he's struggling. He usually manages ok with the extra abilities that being Enderborn comes with, but in moments of frustration and stress has been known to refer to them as nothing more than a curse on his very soul.

*An Enderborn is created when a pony, usually an infant or young foal, is infected with Endervenom, a powerful poison, from the bite of an Enderpony, but doesn't become a part of the hive mind that controls the majority of other Enders. These individuals are usually taken from their families and brought up in the End, where they are raised to serve the Ender Dragon herself. On occasion though, they avoid the clutches of the Ender Dragon's soldiers, and grow up in the Overworld, often with a deep resentment for the Enders and love for freedom, though many live in seclusion due to the general dislike for Enders and their kin. All Enderborn have a powerful magical ability regardless of race, though not all bother to access it. Enderborn often posses external fangs like an Enderpony, but do not have the venom, meaning they cannot infect other's, even if they were to bite them. All are marked with purple streaks in their fur, which shift and grow over time as the Ender Infection changes the ponies blood to that of an Ender, after the Venom has run it's course though, they tend to stay put. The creation of an Enderborn is incredibly rare, happening maybe once or twice a generation. And as such, very few know of their existence.

Anyway. I wanted to work on my headcannon for Rythian. I really like drawing him. I don't know why. But he's good fun. If not a bit tricky.
The Enderpony was a bit of an experiment. But I liked it so much I went with it and vectored it. I guess it fits considering who Rythian is. I added some Ender particles 'cos why not Oh and there's a quickly drawn Eye of Ender in the background, 'cos I felt like the background was too barren on it's own ><

I may have gone a little OTT with the eye glows and things.. Oops. Oh well.

Anyway. Not much else to say really, other than I hope you like and please fav and comment
