Description Decided to do another Speed series with the shots I took of Karen on the bike. This is a combination of things. When I flew home I took pictures of the runway as the plane took off, that’s what I used for the ground in this. Then I used a few light stream pictures I took down town Jax. Then I popped her picture on top of it all with a few motion blurs and lights.

The only little thing I think I should do is add some of the light stream in the rear view mirror? Does anyone think you would even see the lights reflecting out of that? I thought perhaps if this was actually shot, the light sources behind the camera would be shining right into that so I kept it a white light. I don’t really even think people are gonna be looking at that, I’m sure Karen’s Bum will be the focus or maybe the bike??

best thing to do is build up a body of work, have a small portfolio and just ask your friends to pose for you. When you feel confident in you’re work and skill go out to night clubs or even just the park and ask girls if they would model for you, all they can say is no.

One thing to always keep in mind, not that my work is amazing, but your work has to be good enough for people to want it. Does that make any sense? I remember when I was in college and had to get girls to model for my life drawing projects. It’s hard enough to get a girl to model, much less model nude for a life drawing or painting. In my experience you better damn well know how to draw! I saw one too many times a guy talk a girl into doing a photo shoot or drawing that really sucked.  I would always hear guys ask me, “man, how do you get all these girls to model for you?!”

Well, first I ask, second I show them that I can actually take pictures, paint and draw. Some guys think they can just pretend to draw and paint just so they can see naked models. You see a lot of it here on deviant. Get good at it and you won’t have any issues finding people to work with.

In no way do I think I’m the best at this either, I will always be learning more. I have so much more to learn! That’s the joy in it

Thank you very much bro for your reply, very informative and things to think about in my future of art. I think once I start taking some more classes in this subjects I'll improve in confindence and possibly asking girls to model for me. Thanks a lot again.
