I know New Years resolutions are kind of silly but I really want to get back to illustration and character design. Some of you that watch me may not know but I'm a traditional illustrator I just work in computer animation and I do a lot of photography on the side. I really wanted to get back to drawing.

this piece took me 25 hours. I know thats a long time but the digital inking process was painstaking. her hair took the longest.

A lot of artists now are drawing and painting totally in the computer so I thought I would give it a shot. its not my first attempt but is one of my better digital pieces . Normally I would hand draw the image then scan it and color it in photoshop. This time I decided to draw everything digitally.

I started in photo shop and drew out the black lines then I went into Painter 10 and colored it,...then transfered it back into photoshop to add the final touches.
