Description

Reine likes to think that he knows Taika like the back of his paw by now, grown and wandersome as he is, so there's nothing new for him to see. He also knows most of his packmates at least by name, or face - which is why he's startled when confronted with a stranger one misty evening. Or is it a spirit?? It looks like a wolf, but the figure is so shadowed he can't make out much in the gloom except their wide red eyes, and before he can blink in it turns tail and disappears into the forest. Weird. Maybe he should ask around to see if anyone else has noticed a strange wolf lurking in the south...

Enid did everything in her power to avoid running into packmates, avoiding them whenever she could and however possible. But she couldn't hide in her den forever, and it was usually hunger that drove her from the safety of her hovel. She would emerge only in the hours of dusk and dawn, when shadows and light plays tricks on the eyes - it makes it easier to slip away from wolves like Reine. Enid didn't see him in the fog until he was right in front of her, but she wasted no time bolting away into the woods as soon as she realized he was there. Don't look at me.
