At first he was kind, charming in a way she wasn't used to, and being with him made her feel wanted. She felt so loved... but the bitter truth was that it was never really love at all. Rome's abandonment and utter disregard of her after Brick and Tova's birth was a more terrible injury than anything she'd ever experienced, and more than anything, Nausicaa wishes she could forget him - the memory haunts her even all these years later, no matter how hard she's tried to leave him in the past. Sometimes she can't help but be reminded of him... and the warmest memories she has of their time together are the ones that wound her most of all.
