However, Danbuster and co are, though of a different style. They can take some punishment, but they do need a space to recover from their injuries too...

I was thinking in terms of one of my future story-ideas... while the current Flash project will perhaps involve them jumping fences and crashing into garden furniture, I had an idea for a murder mystery that is slightly darker in tone.
It features Vladimir Rippovski (who, as the vampire bat solicitor his is, emanates the "creepy" vibe), an austere old mansion and a few unpleasant relatives who get knocked off in the story... in uncovering the killer, even the Dan Clan face mortal danger...

Well, that's pretty much how it works with my characters...
Danbuster could take on a bunch of gangsters with just a sword and gun and natural speed and agility - which would be impossible in real life... but on the other paw he still has to deflect the bullets with his sword blade to protect himself!
It's a fine line between reality and fantasy...
