LOL
"horses in skyrim are kinda dumb" tell me about it. That's why I got Shadowmere, it doesn't die! Though not exactly...I found out the hard way (like this) that he does die if you fall from a high enough cliff >_> At least he enemies can't kill him. All my other horses would stand there getting attacked by bears, wolves, trolls, giants, even dragons! Before Shadowmere I stole that horse Frost for that sidequest, my face when he got mauled to death: D:

My horses either just stand there and get mauled by bears, or run into battle with trolls while I just got off the horse to pick some mountain flowers. I've had to buy so horses. I have items set aside just to sell when I need to buy a new goddamn horse. XD

I think they're only dumb when they fight the bad guys that are tough. If they fall off of a cliff that I went on then it was my fault or in someone elses case theirs. He he ^__^

Horses are so buggy in skyrim! I oftenly climb up trees or fly off slight slopes and hurt my horses because of that. Actually, one died because he decided to soar a bit too high after walking on a slope... They also walk throught the ground when not on the road. The one I have now acts like it doesn't like me: everytime it dismounts it, it gets on its way back to Solitude... Now I really regret having destroyed the dark brotherhood! XD

Oh my! XD I can't wait to go home this March break to be able to go on steam and update my skyrim! I wish they will have fixed a few of these bugs until then! (althought I have to admit they are funny sometimes)

I have shadowmere, and I hardly ever ride her. Mostly because my companion is slow, and I have to keep jumping off to fight stuff.
She's helped me slay many, many dragons, though.

at least you didn't have the god mode code. then you could do it without damage, carry as much as you want without run penalty, annnnnnnnd.....toss yurself from the tallest mountains just to see how far you'd drop.

Horses are dumbasses and will only go where the screen is pointing. Therefore, a backwards camera will make the horse "turn its back" and therefore propel you in the backwards direction, away from that blundering spike pit.
I got too much of a laugh out of the horse's eyes than I should have at 12 in the morn

They're also slower than going on-foot. Their base speed is a little faster than yours, but they can't Whirlwind Sprint, and their running speed is actually slower than your sprint.

Dwemer tunnels, Falmer attack. They killed Kharjo a couple times, too-- pissed me off, because he's my packmule and he /can't/ die unless I accidentally hit him, so I'm assuming that he got smacked by a wayward daggerslash... I'm pretty deadly with them hand-crafted daggers. xD
