Legend of Mana main characters, whose default names are "You" so that if you don't enter a name for them, they are reffered to as "Hey, you!" Besides, Legend of Mana--one of the deepest, sweetest, most beautiful, charming, and existential games ever created--is your legend. Similar themes to Ende's The Neverending Story, but without the artifice of this world being the real one... I want to write papers on this game.I tried out a new technique in coloring, and I adore it. Should I keep using this? I wish to....it feels liek watercolor but without a lot of what makes watercoloring so exquisite ad dangerous--and messy ha ha ha

It is simply amazing! But I must ask. . . what in the Dryad is that scribble beneath the tree? I zoomed in and it might as well have hit me in the face. Is that some kind of. . .boink-plant mix thing? Sorry, it has me very perplexed

Oh my gosh, this is magnificent! T^T *sniffles*(my childhood is coming back!). This was one of my favorite games to play when I was a kid

Wow thanks for that whole comment! I'm glad the piece reaches back to your childhood, too. Its still sticking with me even though I haven't played the game in some years, and this drawing is from before I graduated art school...so 3-4 years old now!
Actually, the ugly thing in the grass is a sketch of a creature I designed for a class! I didn't think anyone would ever notice it and I forgot it was even there. Ha ha ha!

Legend of Mana has always had a very dear spot in my heart. I was young enough when I played it for it to be almost like a fairytale book come to life for me. I'll never forget spending hours drawing the Jumi and the sirens.
Beautiful piece. I thought for sure it was watercolor until I read the description. A definite fav!

Shipping = fandom term for Romance. Some people like Elazul/Pearl, Heroine/Hero, Escad/Heroine, ect, as couples in the game. Personally, I'm a hardcore Elazul/Heroine fan. X3
( the word "shipping" comes from the word "relationship". People who enjoy fandom romance--like me XD--are usually to referred to as "shippers". )

right, i'm not as immersed in fan culture as i am in creation culture, i suppose! Actually I'm not very interested in romance, either...I find freindship, rivalry, and the many shades of other relationships we have much more insteresting than the stylized form of love-play that is romance. So...we'll just see how these pictures turn out! I won't exactly ignore the romanic trysts among the Jumi, though, since they are somewhat important to the plot, so no worries ^.~

The coloring job is lovely, and it looks just like watercolor. ^^ For moment, I thought this was done in traditional media. I also like the whole sketchy feel to it! ^^

yes, I definately support the coloring style, it looks truly awesome, and really fits the slightly sketchy quality of your drawings. It reminds me of your older water coloring-on-pencil drawings, but fresher and cleaner.
