Took a little break from Suikoden V because I was overwhelmed by the desire to draw Lyon. She's nowhere near as awesome as the Prince, but she's still pretty awesome. 8DI'm only about halfway through the game; don't spoil me plz. D:
(I shamefully realize that I got her hair ties wrong. .-. )

I think the Japanese RPG genre as a whole is aimed more at the female consumer; a great deal of this game's appeal to me is from the Prince. >_> The turn-based battle system kind of turned me off (and still does), but I guess there are a lot of people that have qualms against the AI-based real-time battle systems like they use in the Tales series...
But then, that's from the perspective of someone who falls in love with just about any RPG thrown at her.

Thank you. O: I wouldn't put it quite like that... I'm a big Suikoden V fan, but it's my first and likely my last Suikoden game, unless by some miracle I chance upon another. D: (Apparently my mom had a really hard time getting a hold of this one, but she was determined to do it because it was one of two things I asked for for my birthday. >_> )

Maybe. The names in this game are kinda weird, though. Arshtat, Lymsleia, Sialeeds, Freyjadour (which is the Prince's official name, though you get the option to name him anything you want), Goesch, Rahal, Haswar, Miakis, and... Richard.

I could stand to finish my second game of Tales of the Abyss, and I hardly as much as touched my second game of .hack. I don't think I could go back to Symphonia again; I've been through that game so many times, even Nebilim is cake. The other day I pulled that battle off without a single death; that's an incredible feat for me, considering the first time I was nearly slaughtered and only made it out with Lloyd surviving on Apple Gels. >_>

My friend once accidentally made an apple gel. She put an apple in a cabinet and forgot about it. A couple months later it was discovered, and it had become a little sack of mushy apple goo. >_>
