That it is. I HIGHLY recommend it - that section of the museum is AMAZING. You'll enjoy the outer "wings" (they're on hydraulics).

Another amazing shot. Sheer will alone is keeping me from faving all these shots (I refuse to over fav so I try to be selective).

But I love the toning and the shapes.
Really liking the symmetry of the window and shutters contrasting to the asymmetry of the slashes of light across the surface.

I REEAAAALLLLYYY liked all of them. You're just too good.

This is the first time I looked at your gallery in detail and I'm just in awe of it. DA started acting funky so I'll finish going through it tomorrow.

Thank you kindly, Im pleased you enjoyed it enough to take it back with you lol. It's the view from the front entrace of the newest wing of the Milwaukee Art Museum. The glass over looks Lake Michigan and the reflection's somethin' else.

Oh wow. Very nice! It feels like you are almost under water. Neat colors. Don't know where that place is... but i wouldn't mind having a patio like that I like your gallery. Keep up the good work.

What I love about this pic is the reflection in the floor. And not just because it is a reflection and cool looking. But it is all wavey...like it is water. Which ties right into the water on the outside. Even similar tones. +fav

Ooo that is a beautiful view, love the lighting and the way it lights up the floor in stripes like that.. if I could move in there, I'd put my king size bed in the middle of the window and stair at the stars during the night.
Now! Question is, where is that bed .. its probably a very public building that backs onto the sea .. ah well, always was a hidden exhibitionist ..
Great, great work this, love the tones, the exposure, the placement .. its just beautiful.

oh score!! Which town? Not that I'm an idiot savant when it comes to wisconsin geography, but Im just a curious soul eager to learn.

Hell, bloody people. *l* I almost had a clear shot my first 20 min session of shooting and waiting, but there was another photographer with more boxes than I had camera shooting down the hallway off to the left of that shot. I couldnt cut him out *fists the dirty professional wannabe*. *shake head* But seriously, its like a light to an insect everyone's drawn to apex of the panneling. all in all I had to come back after we had gone through.

That's a view to die for. The soft rippling of the water is distorting the reflection just enough. Again, the colours are amazing.

When I first looked at this I said to myself "Wow, where was this taken?" well, first I said "Wow, thats a cool shot." Then the first thing I wrote.

So I saw the little letters at the bottom and thought that might tell me. So I opened the larger view, and now I know your last name.. lol..

So I'm still wondering "where was that taken?" and I'm also wondering how they clean the glass on the inside (that is water there right?). On the topic of what I'm wondering: do you use "'s when your talking about wondering? because I didn't actually say that aloud.

Hey, that's pretty cool. It'd be an awsome place to have a small resturant or theatre. But, why did this just not pop up In my devwatch when It was posted Jul 31st?

sportygirl4114 In reply to shatterdrose [2003-09-20 19:20:04 +0000 UTC]

Isnt it awesome? Such a fan of the place, and I agree, it'd be perfect for a small cafe of some sort. I think it just popped up on your watch because I just made a print of it, and from the poll I've been taking, apparently when you make a print available of something, it comes up again...kinda makes me wonder *bites lip* Thanx for commenting on it though, glad you enjoyed it

I see big lips. Big blue lips that are almost frowning, but not quite. How could they possibly be frowning on such a nice day?

Great shot. I love the reflection and lines of light that run through this one. Nice job.

*bows head* thank you kindly for commenting. Now that I look at it in light of your comment, I can see teeth. LOL HUGE TEETH. DAAH, oh the wonders of looking at art. Every man sees something commonly viewed, and also something personal unto himself.

And I havent the slighest why its frowning on such a gorgeous day...it really really was a PERFECT day. lol alrighty, hope you're having one of those days yourself.

Oh dear.. this shot is amazing and beautiful, I also like the reflections and the lightning.. When i saw the thumbnail i thougt the floor was water. But now i can see that it is not. Very cool. Very good.

Oh, it's very beautiful. All those reflections and the interesting lighting. Hmm, I think the thing that makes this so successful are the light rays on the floor - without them this would be too center focused and boring. I love the play of light and shadow in general too.

This seems to be the same place as earlier, except this one is taken indoors. What is that huge wall like structure on the sea btw?
