Hatcheam

Sleepy Pokémon

Hatcheam will not open their eyes after birth. it's been recorded that it takes them until they have turned 3 years old for them to open their eyes. oddly while its eyes are closed it will used week psychic powers to see short glimpses of the world around them until they can open their eyes. once open it loses its ability to use its psychic powers for a while before evolving. these Pokémon sleep a lot and most of the time don't wake up for several weeks at a time. over time in their sleep, they have developed an instinct to open their mouths at the slightest sound of their parents returning to the nest. when they do wake up there hyperactive and overly playful to the point where they kick their own siblings out the nest without meaning to. the gem on its head is said to capture their own dreams.

A Pokémon said to draw its power from the daydreams of other people and Pokémon within the region it inhabits or migrates to. a strong and trustworthy Pokémon for Fae or humans mastering the magic arts. often called the "Sorcerer's Pheonix" it is often seen helping its trainer test spells with its psychic powers at the ready to protect them both from backfiring magic. for a long time, it was once believed this Pokémon was able to use magic itself but was proven false. a fast flying and dazzling bird of prey, its bright and vibrant head plombage and tail feathers puff out when using moves like psychic and glow with a mystic aura. its gem in its head gleams in the sun as if it were a gateway into its own mind. when this Pokémon naps it will sleep with its eyes open to keep predators away. when this Pokémon is lost in thought it can often project what its thinking through the gem on its head. it does communicate to its trainer how its feeling in these moments or, to project the images in its mind to better understand complex ideas. when its feathers on its head start to dull it's close to evolving.

A Pokémon so old and wise is said to know knowledge lost to time itself and before recorded history. it's often claimed that this Pokémon is the embodiment of peaceful dreams. this tall and regale Pokémon often wins contests for its smartness and is not uncommon to see one decorated in ribbons from different regions as a testament to its wins. when it evolves from Magoenix it greatly relies on its psychic powers to fly from place to place saving its energy to walk on the ground or hop from tree to tree. the older it gets the the more it will rely on its powers and the more its feathers start to dull and fade to gray. when a Dreamscirth reaches the end of its life it will turn into dream mist and in its place an egg will be in its place ready to be reborn into its next life. if Dreamscirth us well taken care of it can live to pass alongside its trainer so that its egg can be passed down to the trainer's child. Dreamscirth who have been reborn often retain Memories from there past life, if shown an image of its old trainer it will shed tears and remember the times it held dear. when it can no longer undergo the rebirth prosses it will turn solid gray and fade away. a legend says that a Dreamscirth in an act to live past its life span searched for a grate power to gain eternal life. what became of this power and the Dreamscirths selfish actions are lost and even unknown to other Pokémon of its kind. wither it became a Legendary Pokémon or something more has yet to be seen or discovered......
