Ratoxin

Sick Rat Pokémon

Ability:
Runaway
Boil Burst
Keen Eye (HA)

Type: Normal/Poison

Ratoxin may look like it's on the brink of death from being sick but don't let the toxin filled boils on its body fool you. If it is angered or startled it will stick the tip of its tail in one of the boils and fling it in the face of the target. the toxins in the boils cause the target to feel ill like it caught the flu. it's believed that Ratoxin were not always like this, at one point in its life years ago they were normal type and looked way different than the ones seen today. at some point it contracted an illness that caused a sudden biological change that changed it to be poison type. people who saw this new breed of Ratoxin instantly ran away out of fear the sickness they contracted so long ago. the sickness soon became one with it and the Pokémon used the newfound typing to its advantage and for survival. now there is no fear of contracting the mysterious sickness Ratoxin had contracted. study's now show that due to constant repopulation over the years the sickness lost the ability to spread do to becoming part of its biology around 1000 years ago. Ratoxin are social and playful Pokémon, showing its not afraid to befriend people if treated nicely and offered food. in the social ladder in the wild, the Ratoxin with the bigger boils is the alpha male, and the Ratoxin with a ring of small boils around its neck are alpha females. this Pokémon and its evolution are often the mascot of ships, and the captain of the ship will go out of their way to catch and rase one for good luck.

Vermoxide

Biotoxin Pokémon

Type: Normal/Poison

Ability:
Runaway
Boil Burst
Disease cloud (HA)

Evolution condition: Learn Poison Jab at lv.30

Vermoxide are very reluctant to show itself in the daytime around people, in big cities is where there often seen. in the sewers they gather in large groups and will often attack Muk for their Black Sludge to gnaw on. outside of the loud and busy cities in the wild it lives in bigger groups with their young, Ratoxin. their boils are more toxic than that of their young, boils pulled off and thrown have been known to explode harshly on contact with targets. the boils on their hands are just as dangerous, their signature move, Toxin Punch, is just like other Punch based moves like Ice Punch and Shadow Punch. this move when used has a 10% chance to poison its target during the impact of Vermoxide's boils on its hands exploding on contact while dealing damage. they lurk in the shadows out of the sun to keep their boils from being withered away. in the groups the Vermoxide male or female with the bigger boils on its back are the alpha of the group. back long ago when the sickness there young contracted appeared they too looked different and changed. during that time, they weren't called Vermoxide but soon adopted the name due to the sickness changing their biology. after it was known the sickness caused this change, humans and Fae alike took up torches and pitchforks and burned nests with both Ratoxin and Vermoxide inside... though this was a grave mistake, these Pokémon soon became endangered later on. other Pokémon left the ecosystem when numbers of Ratoxin and Vermoxide dwindled, even causing some other predator Pokémon to die off as a result of careless extermination. soon these Pokémon bounced back in Hyland and other regions after a law was passed to make extermination of these Pokémon illegal worldwide. now these Pokémon have moderate numbers but not what they used to be. now that these Pokémon are protected from being exterminated by hunters or by other means, trainers with these Pokémon can be seen more often. there is a legend that says if a Ratoxin or Vermoxide stow away on a ship and are befriended by the crew all feeling of seasickness will go away during the voyage.
