So I'm currently running an art gallery for a close friend of my grandma and a featured artist came in named Debbie Hughbanks.

Her art is to die for. She does scratchboard and pastel artwork, and she was so freaking nice! She had brought a tiny scratchboard with some tools for people if they wanted to try it and said I could be the first one to put something on it.

I had done scratchboard as a kid, and even made my own with crayons (color an entire piece of paper the colors you want with crayon and then add black crayon over that and scratch away!) And so seeing her art brought back memories, but it also made me doubtful of what I could do.

Somehow, I ended up with this

AND I FREAKIN LOVE IT (except for the scales under the eye, those can go die in a hole)

I want to dive deeper into scratchboard art. I personally love it, but would you guys want to see more of it?
