So it’s kind of weird for me to finish a costume when I don’t have immediate plans to wear it for any upcoming event buuut I really felt like making Ariel’s blue dress in these past few weeks. (It helped that I’m using the same skirt I used for my nyotalia!England…thooough the waistline is kind of low so maybe someday I’ll make a different one. IDK.)For the blouse and bodice I used Simplicity 3677 but changed the bodice from a laced up in the front one to using a side zipper instead. And I used super thick interfacing for that bow XD;

You know I misplaced it! xD I'm sure I'll find it but if I can remember, it was probably at least a foot across! So 6 inches on each side? That's my guess at the moment.

Yeah after all this time I finally made one, I had it planned for ages.
It wasn't too hard to make; all I did was follow the sewing pattern instructions.

Yeah, I think I was under the impression it was black at first (since I've seen a lot of people make it black) but after looking at screeshots again, it was definitely dark blue. So I wanted to make sure I matched. I wish my skirt wasn't such a bright blue but ah well. xD;
