I bought the base wig. It was just some shoulder length wig I got off of cosworx.com. I had to make sure it had a skin-top--it made styling easier in this case.
I was with her when she was styling it was pretty much just sectioning off the wig, spraying it and turning it in weird directions to let the spikes dry. XDD

How the hell did you make it though?

I started with cutting out the shape on foamcore board (I had to use two pieces and connect them together since the board wasn't big enough. To make it more sturdy I used rigid wrap--plaster-like material--to make sure the two pieces don't break apart...). Then I put this stuff called crayola model magic onto the foamcore, wrapping it and forming it around the foamcore board. It's a little bumpy up close, I tried my best to sand it down. It looks okay in pics for the most part. Then I painted it. The model magic part was the only time consuming aspect.
It's really lightweight. Ideally I wish I could work with wood but I have no idea how too so my friend came up with this pretty efficient way of making keyblades. ^^

It is a great angle for a lot of shots, but for some characters it just wouldn't work. Like Axel for example, it wouldn't work too well because of his hair, but it'd work for Roxas and Sora because of how their hair is spiked. It all depends.

Axel pics probably look best from the side since that is where most of his hair is. (Or maybe at a 3/4 angle.)

Yeah, a three quarter would be best, straight from the side is always a bad idea. Then again, I prefer to be in the picture rather than taking them. -laughs- But I know enough about photography that I can understand what the photographer is asking me to do.

Yeah I was worried that because my eyes are so dark I would have a hard time finding contacts that would show up in pics.
But Acuvue 2 Colors Opaque contacts are awesome and cover dark eyes well.
I use these blue contacts for almost all my cosplays since I keep cosplaying as characters with bright blue eyes. XD
