that is really really cool, i have seen 'scenes' somewhat like that, not as well "captured" of course, from parts , via view, from West Hollywood, and I think up on Sunset too, maybe more towards the east, like Silverlake or something: anyway, an excellent shot with primo surreal quality.....

It looks like the palms are on fire. It certainly is an odd glow, since the sky isn't that same shade all the way around. Those clouds look gloomy, but the orange vibrancy adds a lot to the photo.

Visiting FL, I saw a lot of palm trees. I can't say I envy you looking at these, since I prefer snow-covered pines to flaming palm trees. But the photograph makes it seem pleasant.

It's quite impressive to understand at some level, every human recognizes beauty, and even though we're so heavily dependant on technology-it can give us the capability to admire for years to come. It takes my breath away...thank you for opening your eyes to such beauty and capturing it.

I love how the opening in the dark clouds show the daylight.. its like the clouds is being cut away to make way for the paradise call Southern California (I live in Los Angeles area too )

I like the sunlight (assumption) on the background palm trees.
I dunno... I'm no photographer either, really, but I'd like to see one or two of the back ground trees closer to the fore ground and just that as a picture.
I guess I like a different style, is all.

ah, right outside your house! Not fair Really cool look to this picture, sounds like it was cool looking at the time too, with the rain, and the sun. The colors of this are really nice, with the orange trees, they look great. And I like the big leaf up close, it provides a good contrast in color, and just in the size compared to everything else. The sky also makes this more interesting, the grey help the orange stand out nicely... really cool picture, it turned out great! heh, and I'd love to have this outside my house

*smiles*..I always thought palm trees were funny looking. *shrugs*..I come from northern wisconsin so it's kinda neat seeing different parts of the country. Though, the natural light on that is incredible. *smiles* If you look outside my house you'd see squirrels in pine trees pelting acorns at you and racoons sitting on my front door step waiting for you to take out the garbage. *sighs*..must be nice to be away from that..LOL. You were quit lucky to have a camamra available at that moment. *smiles*
