7284x2790px psCS 6-7hrs no referencejust a portrait, girl in junk, character thing. quite pleased with how she came out, even though all my girls tend to look the same when i do em from imagination this is by far the most human looking i've come up with upto now
*edit* - added more contrast, fixed up the light reflective warpaint and put some more depth/effects into the background

Soldier's critique: striped camouflage isn't that useful in urban environments, you should rather do something like spots or Z-camo. And with that paint, she'd have to be a left-shooter.

What I find amazing in your work, is the fact that you always seem to be able to capture some form of emotion in the people. Be them reference or not. There is such a sadness, almost a longing in the eyes of this one. Its fantastic!

really good when i first looked at this just in small view i though the light on her face was animated, some sort of illusion there. then in full veiw i noticed it was not. excellent work on the light in this. always enjoy looking at the faces of the people you paint.

Its cool and all... but it could use a bit more contrast. You know maybe some light coming trough the fog in the backround or maybe her face could be better lit.
If its plain gray it becomes... well.. boring.

Nicely done. She kinda looks like me with longer hair...and lighter skin....eh, whatever. lol Great job with the shading. I wish I knew what was the light source shining on her face. I also wish there were a tad more detail in her hair to round it out more. Well done.
