Description Yet one more rpg-sketch... now I´m out of characters though, so no need to fear for more for a while.

Yeah. So, she´s a cathuman-adventurer, and one of my old characters. Haven´t drawn her much, and I´m not completely happy with this either... I messed up her hand (can´t draw them still <_< ) and no need to point out how horrible her swords look like. I haven´t really never tried to draw weapons... should practice sometime. (I know that the handles are curved, I drew them like that because they were also in the picture I used for reference.)
At least I like how her face turned out.

Drawn with pencil. Kind of rushed this one too apart from the face, don´t know if I should put more work on it later.

I actually feel that the swords look quite decent. The shine in the eyes is especially effective; they look bright and alive. The stunning eyelashes are a very feminine, sleek touch.

Something seemed slightly amiss with the positioning of the eyes, but after looking closer, it's not the eyes themselves that are giving trouble, nor the ears, but the balance between the two. The ear on the left (her right ear) is positioned higher up than the other, which would suggest the angle of her face to be more tilted than the positioning of the eyes suggests. They both look great detail-wise, they just need to be adjusted slightly so they match each other's angles.

You've got great shading and great detail in these pieces. If I could suggest one thing to move forward with, you seem to have really started to get efficient at female characters from this angle; perhaps something to work on would be to tackle them from other angles. It's tough to start, but gets much easier with time. I often also get into doing similar poses in a row.

Glad I stopped by to look at your gallery; you have some really lovely work.

Cheers;

Now that you mention it, the ears might be a bit out of balance... Should fix it sometime if I get myself to work on it some more. Heh, yeah, all of these portraits are done pretty much of the same angle, because, well, I just suck at doing humanoid-creatures. Apparently I just chose the "easiest" point of wiew, and still I had to put up a fight with them to draw even those. But yes, you are right of course, it won´t get better without practise. <_<
Thank you for all of your comments, glad you like my drawings. ^__^

That's really cool! I love her pose and the flowing hair and clothing. I don't think the hands that bad. Besides the awkward position it's great! Hands are hard anyways. The sword handles are unique, never seen curved ones before. I like it! You should draw her more!

Heh, thanks. It was those damn swords and hands that gave me most trouble in this picture, but I quess it´s better than most of my previous humanoid-character portraits... exept maybe the purple dragon. <_< But atleast I got some practice again, I thing I figured out atleast something of swords... the ones I tried drawing before didn´t look like anything until I found some reference. Those aren´t too pretty still, but at least you can reconize it as a sword...
