heh, i finally got around to commenting on this. i love it man. i love how i look up close and can hear it being painted: "blah, blap, bleh, blop-blop-blop... BLA HA!" so beautiful in it's messiness.

I just love these "blotchy" paintings, they always impress me.
May I ask you how you set your brushes? Have you got a palette with different sizes/hardness and then use the stylet pressure for flow/opacity? Or do you use it for size? Would you mind revealing this secret to me?

Hey thank you so much. When I started this painting, I really didnt mess around with customizing the brushes really at all. I really just layed down the forms and base colors and messed with the opacity manually rather then setting it to the brush. I wish I would have known that back then, hehe. So the brush is the default pressure brush with the default setting and a wacom intuous 3. If you need anything else, Id be happy to help. thanks again

first off, thank you so much. It prolly took me about 6 hours. It was a class assignment, so it was prolly about 6 hours over the coarse of 2 weeks.

Wow! very cool! Very very 'paintily'! Puts me in mind of Dickens (Charls) work or Jekel and Hide... or of 'Rain', one of the cities from an old computer game called Silver, which you've probably never even heard of lol But as I was saying, very nice, great atmosphere and mood
