Description
It happened so fast. One minute she was running around, the next she was gone. The usually solitary stallion could only snort as the young filly pranced across the field. She was enjoying herself too much to be bothered. Rain could happily chatter about anything and she did. Nos had long ago given up listening or trying to respond. Now it was just a soothing background noise.
He looked up in confusion; the chatter had stopped. Where had she gone? The black filly was nowhere to be found. He frowned. She should be over near the flower patch.
She wasn't. Nos circled the small field, eyes peeled for the missing foal. His heart dropped. The cliff edge. He ran towards the sharp drop off; if she didn't know about the drop she would have just assumed it was another hill. Below ocean waves pounded the rocky cliffs. And right above that was Rain. She'd fallen down onto one of the rocks and had curled up.
Her head snapped up at the approach the stallion. Pale green eyes pleaded for help. Nos waited no time, jumping down to a rock nearby. He nudged the filly forward and together they climbed the nearby rocks. She was soaked from the sea spray, shivering every once and awhile.
The two huddled together a little ways off from the edge. Rain was nearly too weak to speak, but got out that she'd wanted to see what the ocean looked like and tripped. Nos quieted her and urged her to rest. She resisted at first and insisted on telling him about her adventure. Her voice was weak with fatigue. Rain eventually nodded off, curled up next the large stallion.

SFR's Acid Bath 7080 and ES Nitrius Oxide 3984 . Don't worry, Rain is fine. She is just a little shaken up from her ordeal ;u;
Still going off those meet and greet doodles. So much greeting and meeting, so little time.
I was inspired to do this piece for two reasons: 1. I've had these poses sketched out for about a year and I thought Nos and Rain would be perfect in them. 2. I love Nos' ref and wanted to do something related to that.
