Oh cool, are you learning professionally? I am definitely not a professional, but I really enjoy doing nail art. I have been practicing for just over three years now, and while I have improved a lot, I still have a long way to go. It's just a fun way to express myself, I think! And so many pretty colors to choose from! ^_^

I get clear builder gel put on my nails, and then my nail tech lets me go home and paint them on my own. I avoided getting gel for the longest time, but I spend /hours/ on my nails, and without the gel, the polish would always start chipping within a couple of days. At least this way my design will last the whole 2.5 weeks before getting a fill, if I want it to. I tried doing gel at home but it was a disaster, so I leave it to the professionals. There are some things I just can't seem to get the hang of! But that's okay, there are plenty of things for me to get better at. ^_^
