Description
So, a while back I wrote a little dribble drabble about Jeremy (brunette) and Andrew (blue hair) and I looked at it the other day. Well, I guess I couldn't get it off my mind, because I drew a picture for it. Here is part of it:
They were new and the brightest yellow that Jeremy had ever seen--brighter than the sun and that was probably a good thing, because the light had been hiding for a while. The shiny plastic resisted all the water that dared to touch Andrew's precious feet that day; like gladiators that were fighting to keep socks dry and winning. The bottom was lined with a contrast of black though that was probably to hide the mud that covered them. Night and day collided on them. They were bright. They were beautiful. They were yellow rain boots.
Andrew insisted on buying a new pair while they were out after noticing the increase of rain. It was about this time that Jeremy regretted turning down the offer of a pair too, since his shoes were soaked through. He could feel every step releasing and gaining water at the same time with the uncomfortable sounds. His shoes had picked up more dirt than his hands could and his pants were soaked the water. It was a relief when they reached their hotel, which would had a nice pair of dry socks waiting for him.
People gave the two disapproving glances as they carried mud inside the exquisite building. The tiled floors would be easy to clean, Jeremy figured, and they could not have been the only ones with mud on their shoes, right? He began to question that theory the more he looked around though, making eye contact with several people before he entered the elevator with Andrew. A sharp breath was sucked in as an elderly man looked down at them before pressing the button to their floor. The bluenette seemed to be an expert at ignoring glances though, humming happily, and dancing down the hallway to their room.
He skipped inside with just as much vigor before reaching down to pull off his rain boots with a soft hum. Andrew could not stop the from laughing as he watched Jeremy awkwardly pull off his shoes and socks. The younger's face twisted into different degrees of disgust and frustration during the process. "You should have bought some new shoes with me," Andrew said in a sing-song tone. The elder swung his hips as he walked to the bedroom and spun the hotel's keyring on his finger with no effort at all, another playful laugh escaping.
Anyway, I am kind of upset with one little thing on this picture. While I was in the coloring process, I was like, gee, why does Jeremy look so weird? And I realized, I parted his hair on the wrong side. That's right. I messed up my own character. C'est la vie.
I am trying out new things, so if it looks good then it worked, if it doesn't, then, well... #Oops
