Will liked this one a lot. He is not easily impressed, so I must have done something right. Too many hours of work with marker and colored pencil!

Thank ye. I guess how I got where I am with them is lots of practice. I also look at real animals a lot and relate how they're put together to how I put my dragons together, as well as looking at the way other artists draw them(but never directly copying, of course). Hope that helps, and if you want any more specific advice just ask.

Thank you very much. I stopped by your gallery and I must say, I am quite impressed! The shading and musculature on them are lovely. As far as improving them, I guess just keep looking at real animals and incorporate their features into the dragons. That's pretty much what I do, reference cats, dogs, dinosaurs and reptiles. And, of course, practicing a lot helps! Hope that that helped, if there's anything more specific you want to ask, feel free to.
