This is my present to for her birthday/ Christmas
Goldfish pattern is by Kunihiko Kasahara, found in her book, Creative Origami.
Earrings made with washi paper, coated heavily with varnish to make them waterproof and durable, and attached to sterling silver earring hooks

I varnished them with a normal paint-on, clear varnish that you can get at any craft store. I'm sure a spray-on sealant would work just as well, too.
