Puffins don't like muffins.
Muffins, don't like puffins.
Muffins, are non-sentient beings, that have no consciousness whatsoever, and are therefore unable to comprehend existence, let alone what they like or dislike.
The puffin would only eat the muffin, and not 'like' it, since it is a product of evolution, and therefore is controlled by a basic set of animal instincts: those of mating, eating, breeding and killing. It is not beneficial for a puffin to like a muffin, since they cannot breed with it.
And also, it's childish and irritating, and if 'being cute' is an artistic quality deserving of merit, then painting may as well just die now.
