Finished color version for the "Rookie" #1 cover by Big Dog Ink and Bluerainbow online.

This piece was colored by Ula Moś who is a digital painter that grabbed my attention with her work over Jamie Tyndall and Jen Broomall's lines. It's always nice to aspire to work with someone and find out that your styles mesh well together at first crack.

I stated in my post of the pencils for this cover that I could have done the background differently, but Ula swooped in and made a skillful decision to fill the entire background as you see here as opposed to emulating the Elgren-like scene that the editor and I had originally agreed upon.
