A LONG time ago I started a Hey Arnold Fanfic. It was going to be epic and awesome and never really got started at all. I think there's like...a chapter of it written?
Anyway, weird creatures took over the earth in one very violent move. There was something about sucking out the light within people. Also, Arnold's been in a prison for years and is kind of only a shell of who he used to be.
Also, Helga's the leader, Gerald is the guy who butts heads with her, Lila is supposed to be the key to saving the world, Phoebe is just as awesome as she always was, Wolfgang's a double crosser with a thing for Miss Helga, Brainy is Helga's near-silent right hand man who loves her, but is doomed to not have her.
It was going to be long and ridiculous and had a plot (MAYBE).
I look back now and gag, but whatever. Some of the parts were cute. And by that I mean that I was really going to develop Helga and Brainy's relationship. He was kind of the silent hero and she loved him, but not in the way she had loved Arnold which he knew. Also, Brainy was going to be the only one who really understood Helga anymore and the only person who could get near her when she was upset or guilty or just unhappy.
Also, I think he probably would have died for her at some point.
Also, Helga's face - The creatures had got a hold of her at some point and had almost sucked the light out of her, but Big Bob managed to save her in the nick of time, but she's now part monster, because getting the light taken from you turned you into one of them (KINGDOM HEARTS RIP OFF WHUT?). Usually she has her hair cover that part of her face, but it's windy and it's just Brainy and so she doesn't feel self-concious.
The pink band is all that's left of her ribbon.

This plot is great! you should develop it, though I know it's a hard work. however, you have most of the story created in your mind.
It remembers me a story called 'The Seed' in fan.fiction. Epic stories are the greatest.

Ok, so I just got back into the HA fandom and I found your story last night. It sounds epic awesome, and the prospect of no future updates made me sad; but, it inspired me and I started a tentative storyboard for a fanfic that may or may not be published. It has the same supernatural feel, but is written in Helga's POV. Maybe I'll make it a summer project, maybe not, but thank you for inspiring me.

Making Brainy hot is a challenge, really. His face is so weird and you have to keep some form of glasses, because he just doesn't look right without them.
And I love all the curves that I make!

Wow...that would've been the most original HA! story to date, even enjoyable if it was executed right...but the premise by itself sounds and looks VERY intriguing. Speaking of looks...ooh la la Brainy~ *SHOT* Er, well...*ahem*...I just have to say, I like what you've done with Helga and Brainy here. Such emotion(tension? XD LAWL I could only interpret so much out of a picture before it could border on being ridiculous) between them...moreso on Brainy's half (he looks concerned...for her?) and Helga, like you've said, is mulling something over without much heed for him at the moment...it just seems lovely to me. If only for the emotion and coolio character designs.

When I think of the story now, I find most of it very...out there. Too much was left unexplained and if I really wanted to do it, I'd have to really go back and rehash the plot to something less random.
Helga and Brainy's relationship is always fun to explore. I think he understands her better than anyone else in the world, but I think it'd be a very one-sided relationship. Where Brainy would give and Helga would take and it would never really go the other way.
I love the idea of him being the only one who can really get close to her when she's upset, because he's ALWAYS been around. By this point she expects him to be there, because he always is.

i have a lot of story ideas that never really go anywhere. It'd be fun to do if only for the way the character's relationships were set up.
I love getting comments about people liking my style, since I'm always kind of iffy on it.
With HA! characters especially, I like to make it obvious who the characters are without limiting myself to drawing them exactly like Craig would.
