14" Barnabas Collins as portrayed by Jonathan Frid in the original 1960s/1970s soap opera Dark Shadows.

I made this for my mother as a surprise extra gift for Christmas. This is NOT the Johnny Depp Barnabas from the newer Tim Burton movie, although my mother and I both saw, and enjoyed that film. But, in my mom's opinion, she prefers the original TV show. ^^

Anyway, my mother has actually been asking me for years to remake the Barnabas plushie I had originally made for her back in 2005: [link] I had only just started making plushies back then, so suffice it to say, he's pretty rough looking in comparison to this one. In fact, at that time, my mom had originally wanted Barnabas in his old clothes from the past, but as his ruffled sleeves, and caped coat were beyond me, I nixed the idea, and made the standard suit Barnabas instead. Now, however, this is 1700s Barnabas in all of his glory. ^-^ It's kind of nice, too, to see how I've improved from then. I even made his cane 3-dimensional this time, and it attaches to his hand via magnet. ^^
