Hey all! As said in my journal, I've been working on this. Wow just today. Man, first that Tokka pic and now this. Perhaps I'm on fire. I'll check that later. Anyway! I just couldn't wait any longer to get more of this comic out! I'm really actually starting to enjoy this fight scene. At first it seemed tedious, but it's pretty fun!

I shall summarize the events here, in case of any confusion. Hollow Aang's dropped down from above and slashed at Azula, who's just barely moved out of the way, however, her captain's jacket did get slightly cut. The place that was cut, however, is suddenly turned to ice. If you all remember the picture of Aang's bankai, he was forming a sword out of water, thus the ice cut. Azula's taken aback by this and automatically looks down, but therein lay her folly. Aang took this moment to shunpo from in front of her to right behind her. Azula then realizes her mistake...and there we leave off! I shant give away anything further.

Technical: I like the first panel quite a bit. Azula's face looks a bit long, but I like it all the same. I tried to get the cut to look sort of like the cuts in the Zuko vs. Jet fight. Can't say that it looks exactly like that, but I like how it turned out. The second panel. What can I say? Worst ice ever. I tried using a pic from Return to Omashu as reference, but it ended up looking bleeeeegh! Least fav panel. Oh well, practice makes perfect I guess. Third panel's pretty good. Nothing particularly special there. Like it though. Fourth panel, I kept switching up what I was gonna do. I thought of having a full face-shot, but I decided that I wanted something different. I'd thought of doing the eyes, but I ended up doing the mouth because I thought it would express the feeling I wanted better. Then I was going to have another panel showing where he was standing, but then I'd have to have an Azula reaction shot, and I already had one in the last panel, so I cut out the middle frame between those. The last panel is my absolute favorite. I really loved the half-shot of Azula's face, and not so much the Hollow Aang that I had in there originally. So I redrew him much better and put him in there. I really like how he turned out as well. I liked them so much that I gave them a different coloring style. I also did it for dramatic effect.
