We had so much fun this weekend at Florida Supercon!This is me as Beyond Birthday, nailing a Wara Ningyo to the bedroom wall.

heh, I was B at MegaCon back in February. I was down in Orlando because of my mother being with some charity superhero group and i decided to get the eyes and go B-style... only found 2 other B's during the con.
I plan on making some those wara ningyo for my friend and I after work sunday and part of monday in preparation for ColossalCon June 4-7, and each day we'll leave some of them on the walls of the con-floor XD... sadly they'll be pseudo-nailed and actually be taped to the walls... but meh...
so... how did you go and make yours?
oh and good B-look, I did the black shirt too XD...

Yay another BB cosplayer~ And one who does the black shirt! 
Hmm.. well, I made the 'body' of the doll out of popsicle sticks just glued together. They wrapped the sticks in straw-colored yarn. ^^ The 'head' was made out of a foam ball and wrapped with the same yarn, then just stuck on top of the popsicle stick. (hot-glue it on though, because I forgot to when I made mine, and the head kept falling off all day. xDD )

heh, i bought red raspberry jam for the con... stil figuring out how to go about the coffee part... and how i'm going to dye my hair... probably will do that ahead of time on tues/wednesday... and then thursday-sunday its contime... though i might not be doing thursday.. depends on a few factors

Hmm.. can't give any advice on dying hair since I'm too chicken to dye mine myself, but yeah I'd probably do it a day or two ahead of time. ^^
And wow a Thurs-Sun con?? 4 days?? That's pretty friggin awesome. (I wish I could go D: I have to wait till... July or August probably... until I can go to one again. >< Curse being out of the country!

heh yeah, just uploaded my beta wara ningyo, it'll have to do for the con but i shall make a better one for the next con i am planning on in january in columbus XD
