Beautiful Pic, Hope it comes true someday, Can't help but root for ol Spike, He's the Prince Rarity's looking for and she doesn't even fully realize it (yet) Sure I know the arguments, he's a Dragon, she's a Pony (well Unicorn to be precise) he's younger then her, etc. But c'mon people its a cartoon, and their both mythological creatures, if Dreamworks can pair up a full grown dragon with a talking Donkey, and a Giraffe With a Hippo, and Star Wars can marry off lil Annie Skywalker to a chick thats older then him, no reason these two can't be together once all is said and done. I mean this is MLP for pete's sake, its supposed to be a happy show, and I know I for one will be sad if overlapping story arcs like Spike Winning over Rarity, the CMC getting their marks, and Raindbow Dash at least getting offered a chance on the wonderbolts doesn't happen by the time all is said & done. But ahh rambling aside.... Wonderful pic mate! Keep em comin!

Well they kind of have to , at least till the story ends, the CMC getting their marks, spike winning over Rarity for good, and Dash at least getting offered a spot on the Wonderbolts are admitingly final season, series finale type stuff...or Movie fodder, if they ever make a movie, could be like with G1 Transfomers, then have the seasons after it about the CMC as teens and the mane six as adults or what not... but i'm rambling so I digress.

Well they don't have any actual ages, but yeah Faust herself once commented here on DA, that if you were to compare the ponies to humans they would be the human equivalent to teens 12-18.
As for why/how they can have jobs/houses/etc of their own, well Equestria is a far more utopian society then ours, they probably grant their teenagers more privileges then real life teens, lol.
But ahh yeah, technically there just female ponies, their ages are left ambiguous for a reason. But again according to Faust, if they were humans, they would all be teenagers.
