She is a diva and the element of generosity itself as well so I do think the fire ruby could indeed become part of herself.
Ironically, some fans say that Spike's heart is actually that blue gem Rarity gave him before the Diamond Dogs took her.

I believe that dragons actually have blood 'n guts like the next pony.
They do, however, have extremely tough titanium-strong, scaly hides. Dragon-ponies have fire, but their skin is almost as tough as a dragons'.

It is a Sparity fnafic which has a lot to do with that blue gem Rarity gave Spike when they were young.
The written version is a little heavy for my simple taste.

One of my watchers posted a journal stating a friend needed help and was selling adoptables to anyone who was interested on buying them. I took a look and was speechless after looking at the really high prices indeed.
