Nice translucency on the sleeves, Scott. I also like the simple brushwork on the arms & gloves.
The folds at the bottom of the skirt (in the center) are a bit problematic, as the form on the underside becomes unclear and too blotchy. Something simpler and softer like what you have going on by her hip would work better.
Probably an issue with drying times -which is the real trick with watercolour.
Blotchy is OK if you can make it work for you, like it has in the upholstery.
Even in the cheeks, you've managed to use the blotches to convey that pale complexion and restrained emotion.
A little more contrast in the shadows of the chair (perhaps using the background colours) might bring the figure out more.

Love the style with the outlines and transparency. Really suits Lady Mary well! As much as its a character from a popular TV show, the way you painted her makes it classic portrait. A rare treat.
