okay, I already know that nobody is going to understand this joke, so ill just explain it.
there is an old analogy for New Years Eve where the old year is symbolized as an old man leaving, and the new year, most usually shown as a cherub or baby, takes his place. and so I have the old geezers (meta knight included) leaving the room just before midnight, as fumu prepares to stick a halo on a randomly winged Kirby. I figured that fumu probably came across the old analogy at some point, and decided to reenact it just to poke fun at the old codgers. y'know, cuz that seems like something she would do...
...this all looked better in my head.
I ended up throwing it all together rather quickly because I recently found out that I wouldn't be able to get on the internet until after new years, and I had a day to do this.
and yes, it is supposed to be nighttime. ignore the fact that it looks nothing like that.

That's so true as well. It's a sad thing really. People forge things of the past calling them nonessential and boring. Like riddles; they've been almost completely lost. You can now just look up the answer on google. There's almost no point to them, and thus they've lost their meaning. Obviously you can tell I like them, but there are many other things, traditions, stories, legends, things that we cannot get back. It's a pity really.

That's true. I don't think it's a matter of not liking it, however, but more the interest, or the will, to do so. With all the 'instant' things people do today they lose the ideas of 'looking' for the answer, rather than 'finding' it. You loose creativity, and assurance. It's like a game that people have forgotten the rules to. You cannot get those things back.
