That is a photo from a tiger in the zoo (munich). He looks sad and I feel the power of this prisoner. If you look closely you see the blurred railings! At first I hate this disturbing fence but now I think thats a realy important part of this photo.Thank you for watching and commenting! Your enjoyment is my fee

I love tigers, they are such beautiful animals and shouldnt be caged up, yet lets not forget the reason for them being in zoos, to protect them from poachers and the fur industry and the fact that they are an endangered species and so their population needs to be monitored and protected to help increase the numbers. However i do think they should be given bigger enclosers which look more like their natural habitat and not exposed so much to the public. I hope one day they will be safe in the wild.

Without a doubt a favourite!! I am absolutely in LUV with big cats, and tigers have always held for me a certain graceful regality, and independant power. so to see such a beautiful animal caged, to be torn from its land, i feel thro this photo the terrible hurt and unnaturalness behind it. this photo betrays pure emotion fabulously! congrats.

As sad as it is seeing a tiger in a zoo, I would rather see them in a zoo than slaughtered in the wild. Tigers are my favorite animal and it's depressing to know just how tragic their chance of survival is. It's too bad poachers are too idiotic to realize that these animals shouldn't be killed for the sake of profit. If you love tigers as much as I do, I recommend taking a look at [link] It's an organization that rescues large cats (lions, leopards, and others in addition to tigers). One of the tigers they are housing is named Kashmir. She is a golden tabby tiger, of which there are less than 30 left in the world.
