I can see all the wrinkles on his skin...
it looks like he is standing on something yellow, wich casts the yellowish light on his skin, reflected from below him, from the ground... or is that just me ?

Recently I've been reading alot about domesticated Indian elephants and I think they're really special - although they live as long as people do, they remain innocent like children and stay patient like no human could be, rarely losing their temper. Really respectful 
Imho this portrait shows the depth of this amazing creature so well and moves me so deeply, it's great
