"Grandfather, do you think I'm...odd?" Maria asks, holding the book closer. Gerald turned to her from his work. He raised his eyebrow."My granddaughter odd? Where did you get an idea like that?"
"I don't know. It's just that, well, people talk. They found me...different. It's because I'm sick, isn't it?" Maria said. Gerald chuckled at her.
"They talk about me, too."

Just a little thought of drawing this and knew the song could fit them both. It's my first time drawing Gerald.
"No Matter What" is from the broadway version of Beauty and the Beast. I had to change "father" and "daughter" to "grandfather" and "granddaughter".

May i give advice from one artist to another?
while everything is drawn nicely you need to work on side profiles. The eyes are too close to the nose and needs to be put back alittle bit, as well as the head needs to be a bit thicker. A nice trick is to make the width of the head the same as the height. Remember even with very cartoony styles you still need to study real life and know proportions, when you do this art will look much nicer. Especially with anime styles.
