History:

❧ Born in Leaf-bare to two Kittypets, Tali and Garrus, and named Liara. Raised in a two-leg neighborhood.
❧ Became curious of neighbor's cat, Lilac. She showed Liara how to get into the greenhouse and how these herbs could soothe ailments.
❧ Tested these herbs on other kittypets and became known as the local 'medic'. Cats came to them before needing to go to the dreaded vet.
❧ Wandered too far away from home and met a mysterious rogue who spoke of Clans that worshiped the stars. Fascinated she ran away to find them.
❧ Met Shadestar on patrol. At first she was hostile and frightened Liara, but when the kittypet noticed that the leader had many scars she offered to soothe them with her medical knowledge. Impressed, and desperate for a healer, Shadestar invited the kittypet back with her.
❧ Introduced to the Clan they were untrusted at first, living not quite as a warrior but not quite as a medicine cat. Shalekit, Seednose's child, was to be the next medicine cat, and so Liara was in limbo.
❧ Shadestar decided that StarClan would chose their fate, sending them to MoonCave. They were accepted, their belief in the stars solidified after meeting them.
❧ Given the name Fernpool they were accepted as MarshClan's medicine cat. However, due to strains of distrust among other members in the Clan, SunSpots was to still train Shalekit. An outside warrior more readily accepted than a strange kittypet turned medicine cat.
